Learning Systems Upgrade

Moodle was upgraded as part of the annual Learning Systems maintenance schedule. The upgrade process started on 23 December, 2017 and was completed on 1 January, 2018.

In this upgrade cycle, a new systems architecture has been adopted to cater for Moodle's growing demand at USP. We now have two separate instances of Moodle running. One Moodle instance is for courses starting Semester 1, 2018. The link for this is The second instance (this Moodle instance) is for courses running in Flexi school and courses that were offered in 2017 and before.

Over the next few days, the Learning Systems Team will be fine tuning the Moodle setup to stabilize Moodle's performance. Users may notice some missing or broken functionalities. This is anticipated and the Learning Systems Team will be restoring full functionality as they complete their service verification process.
